Please note, elimination diets are not to be followed long-term! Why? Because they are very restrictive and long-term avoidance of foods can lead to nutritional deficiencies. Follow an elimination diet for 4-8 weeks. You should experience improvement in symptoms and be ready to move forward to the reintroduction phase.
